Autumn is a wonderful time to take photos in Minneapolis, whether as a family portrait for Christmas Cards, or an Engagement shot for the upcoming summer wedding season. With wonderfully landscaped areas and a lovely lake and river, this area is one of my favorites. I took these at theCentennial Lakes park with a lovely young model.
Right by Lake Harriet, this area boasts wonderfully kept flower gardens, ornate sculpturing and beautiful fountains all a short walk from the local lakes. I have done senior photos as well as portraits here and it is wonderful! Check these out:
One of the most popular lakes and parks in the twin cities, I love to shoot in the pass between lake Calhoun and lake of the Isles. It has amazing color and character that is immediately recognizable in the cities. This is one of my favorites:
